What is a lien sale car?

A Lien sale car is a car that was towed either by a law enforcement agency or a private property owner, and the vehicles owner failed to pay for the towing and storage, so we try and recoup some of this money by having a lien sale.

How do I register the vehicle?

At the end of the sale the Buyer will receive all the lien papers which will enable him/her to register the vehicle: However DMV will collect all fees at that time.  Liencars.com or Sierra Hart does not guaranty fees or smog this is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

Do the cars run and drive?

The vast majority of the cars listed were running and driving when they were towed; However after sitting for 30 day sometimes there a little hard to get going again.

Do you disclose mechanical problems?

We at LienCars.com and Sierra Hart do are best to disclose any and all mechanical problems with every vehicle; However, this is only limited to moving the cars around on the lot we do not do any inspections and we strongly recommend the cars be inspected by a licensed repair facility before being driven on the road
